Hours of the Night
Arthur: Master Sage, please pardon me for calling this late to the night.
Akira: Please don't worry about it. So, you said you want to talk to me about something, right?
Arthur: Yes... I have something I want to ask you about, Master Sage.
Akira: A question for me?
Arthur: Yes. Around lunchtime, I saw that you and Lord Oz were together discussing something...
Arthur: I was wondering if there was something off about Lord Oz then?
Akira: Something off...
Akira: (Hmm, I wonder if something has happened?)
Akira: I don’t think there was something particularly off with how he acted back then...
Arthur: I see...
Akira: Is there something wrong with Oz?
Arthur: ….. Yes. It's nothing serious, but...
Arthur: Ever since we returned from the Central Sacred Festival, I've noticed that Lord Oz has been acting somewhat off.
Arthur: But I am not sure about this myself, so I thought I'd ask around and see what other people thought about this matter first.
Oz: … So there are people here.
Arthur: Lord Oz!
Akira: Ah, Oz…
Oz: Do you have any business with me?
Arthur: Ah, uhm… I'm sorry. No, I mean, there’s nothing wrong.
Oz: Arthur?
Arthur: Thank you for your time, Master Sage. Please excuse me for now.
Akira: Are you sure?
Arthur: Yes.
Akira: ...All right. Good night, Arthur.
Arthur: Thank you. Good night and sweet dreams, Lord Oz, Master Sage.
Oz: Yes...
Oz: .......
Akira: (Arthur said there’s something off with Oz, but...)
Akira: Um, Oz.
Oz: What is it?
Akira: It’s just... Do you have any sort of trouble lately?
Oz: ..... I can't think of anything in particular...
Akira: Guess so...
Akira: (It’s just the usual Oz. I wonder what it is about Oz that’s bothering Arthur...)
Figaro: Oh? Heya Oz, Master Sage. What's the two of you are doing here this late?
Oz: Figaro.
Akira: We've only met by chance. How about you, Figaro?
Figaro: Nothing in particular, I just can’t seem to fall asleep, so I'm taking a night walk.
Figaro: Oh, right. Oz, if you’re free after this, why don't we have a drink or two in Shylock’s place?
Figaro: I'm sure at this hour Shylock will be there. Would you like to join us, Master Sage?
Akira: I don't mind, but... Is that really alright?
Oz: Yes.
Figaro: Nice. Then, let's get going!

Shylock: Oh my, what an unusual lineup that we have here.
Figaro: Hi! Do you have any new drinks? If you have a recommendation, I'll have that. Oz, wanna order the same?
Oz: Sure. What about you, Master?
Akira: I'll have, um...
Akira: (I wonder what’s good... I don't come to bars that often...)
Shylock: Master Sage, are you not in the mood for being drunk tonight? If so, I have non-alcoholic drinks available for you.
Shylock: And if you have any preference, I'm sure that I can make anything that would suit your taste.
Akira: Ah, thank you very much... Then, can I have something sweet?
Shylock: Certainly. Then, please wait for a moment.
Figaro: Master Sage, so I guess you don't come here that often, huh?
Akira: Yes. I don't get many chances to, so...
Figaro: I see. But there’s no need to be that nervous. It’s not like Shylock will gobble you up, after all. Maybe. I can't guarantee it, though!
Akira: Maybe...
Oz: That's enough, Figaro.
Figaro: Aye aye, sir~.
Shylock: My apologies for keeping you waiting. Master Sage, this is a non-alcoholic cocktail for you, with orange, pomegranate and other fruits added in.
Shylock: I hope that it will suit your taste.
Akira: This cocktail looks delicious! Thank you very much.
Shylock: And a bottle of wine that I've just acquired, for both of you
Oz: It looks promising.
Figaro: Yeah, seems like it’ll be a tasty one for sure.
Shylock: And since we've got such an unusual lineup of people tonight, how about a toast to celebrate this occasion?
Figaro: I’m in!
Oz: Sure.
Akira: O- Okay.
Figaro: Then, here's to the time we spent together tonight...
Oz • Shylock: Cheers.
Akira: Cheers.
Akira: How delicious...
Oz: ...It’s delectable.
Figaro: I'd love to have at least a bottle of this in my room. Tell me what’s the brand called later?
Shylock: It’d be my pleasure.
Oz: ...Master. Why did you ask me that earlier?
Akira: The one in the lounge?
Oz: Yes.
Akira: ...Actually, Arthur was the one wondering about that matter. He told me that there’s something off with you.
Oz: ...I see.
Akira: (Huh? Now I can see that there’s something off about Oz… Like, his mind is up in the clouds, or you could say he’s kind of lethargic...)
Akira: Could it be that you're worried about something?
Figaro: Haha, no way! Oz is waay more shameless and thick-headed than what you'd probably imagine him to be.
Figaro: I bet he just happened to pull some all-nighters or something lately.
Oz: Wait. Doing all-nighters aside, I'm neither shameless nor thick headedー
Figaro: Eeh, you’re saying that? But, you know...
Akira: (...I think this is the first time I've ever seen the two of them talking this bluntly and without even an ounce of restraint to anyone...)
Akira: (I guess these two are an old friends, after all.)

Akira: (It's already this late... I was having so much fun listening to their story, that time just flew by before I knew it...)
Akira: Oz, thank you for escorting me all the way to my room.
Oz: Yeah. It's already late, so rest after this.
Akira: I will!
Akira: And thank you for everything today. I really had a good time thanks to you guys.
Oz: ...It was all Figaro’s idea. You should convey your gratitude to him.
Akira: Of course, I'll thank Figaro too tomorrow.
Akira: But, I’m really glad that I got a chance to chat about this and that to you. I hope we'll have some chance to do this again someday.
Oz: Sure. Should that opportunity arise, I'll let you know about it.
Akira: Thank you! I'm looking forward to that.
Oz: Okay.
Akira: Ah. Oz, please wait! I just want to tell you one last thing.
Oz: What is it?
Akira: How should I say this...
Akira: ...I know that there's not much I can do to help you, but... If you’re troubled about anything at all, please don’t hesitate to call out to me.
Akira: Like Arthur, if you’re troubled about something, I'd like to lend you my hand.
Oz: Akira...
Akira: Besides, seeing you and Figaro today made me realize how I want to get along with you more!
Oz: Get along with me?
Akira: Yes. Since if we became better friends, I thought it would be easier for you to talk to me when you’re troubled about something.
Akira: ...Is that too much to ask?
Oz: .....No. It's not.
Oz: I just don't know what method I should use to get along with someone...
Oz: .....But you're right. If you’re in trouble, then I shall lend you my hand, too.
Akira: Thank you very much, Oz!
Oz: Yeah.

Arthur: Master Sage! So here you are.
Akira: Arthur, you’ve been looking for me?
Akira: (He’s looking much brighter than yesterday. I wonder if there’s a good news or something?)
Arthur: Yes. I just wanted to tell you that I happened to see Lord Oz in the courtyard this morning, and it seemed that he has felt better today.
Akira: I see! I'm glad to hear that.
Arthur: Yes! I'm relieved too.
Akira: (I guess talking to Figaro and Shylock yesterday has brought a nice change of pace for him.)
Arthur: I managed to talk a little with Lord Oz, and...
[Screen Fades for a Moment]
Figaro: Feels kinda bad for being a peeping-tom like this, but...
Figaro: Well, Arthur seems to be pleased and all, so guess I can just say that all’s well and good, right?
Figaro: The central wizards are all reckless and brash, so it's no wonder they have so much to worry about.
Figaro: But really, if I told the past me that the future Oz will be worrying about someone like this, I bet I won’t believe it.
Figaro: Maybe it's Arthur's influence, or maybe it's Master Sage's....
Figaro: ...Either way, it'll be interesting to see how Oz will continue to change in the future.
Figaro: Sigh… I’m just buurning with jealousy Oz, seriously. How lucky that you get to be fussed over by the young’uns like this...
